Well this blog certainly sets October in motion.
Happy October 1st, Sweets!
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” Isn’t that song referring to October! π You know what’s not wonderful…..this recipe.
I swear! Cross my heart & hope to die, stick a needle in my eye! That I thought this recipe was going to be fine. It’s all things that I thought were relatively not that that bad.
Boy was I wrong.

Let’s just look at the recipe.
Cocktail Prunes
Removes pits from canned or cooked prunes; fill with one of the following; chill. Nice with coffee as late-evening nibbler.
Sharp-cheese spread
Peanut butter
Deviled ham, mixed with cream cheese
Cream cheese, mixed with chopped nuts
Β
You can choose from all those filling options & I opted for the “sharp-cheese spread”, the “peanut butter” & the”cream cheese, mixed with chopped nuts”.
These are all ingredients you like. These are all ingredients I seem to like…each individually, on there own.
If you’ve watched the video already, you’ll see I put it in my mouth & then immediately took it out.
It was the consistency of the prune, plus the whiff of spreadable cheese that wafted up my nose that shook me to my core.
It wasn’t hot bananas.
It was’t mayo.
It wasn’t hollandaise sauce.
But this by far was the worse & I didn’t even plan for it to be.

If you’d like to try these, may has a horrible halloween trick, be my guest.
Try these if you dare.
