Why hello there,
I have wanted to own this dress for so long, but I own many a black dresses and could never justify buying another one.
However, I finally was able too…you see I don’t have “luscious bridal satin” black dress! Sold!
When it finally arrived, when any PUG dress arrives, I rip open the packaging and try it on. To my dismay it didn’t fit. Try as I might to zip the zip over my waist and I couldn’t.
A few weeks, or months later I tried again. Still not a budge, then I got creative and I zipped it up the back without putting it over my chest or arms and then I wiggled into it.
What you see her is a product of that genuineness.
I couldn’t love this dress more and now that I found a way to stuff my body in it, you better believe I’ll be doing it again.
However, if you are ordering this dress know that the fabric is not stretchy and if I could do it again I would order a size Large. This dress is a size Medium, which I normally wear in PUG clothing unless in situations such as this.
Do I look like I’m calling on the storm? Because that’s what I was going for!
I know you ALL KNOW that black is a summer color, but just to make my outfit even that more summer(y), I added my @Erstwhilder Pie Brooch!
I bought it at Unique Vintage in Burbank, but it can also be found here!
One word: Pockets.
On photo shoots like this it’s great to be able to place my phone and keys in my pockets and not lug around a purse.
Dress: PinUp Girl Clothing – Size M, but would have ordered a size L
Hat: Downtown Disney, but you can now find it at Unique Vintage
Pin: Erstwilder – Picnic Pin
If you have any questions on any of the articles of clothing I’m wearing, don’t hesitate to ask!
